The Victor Wembanyama era is beginning.
After fans got a first look at Wembanyama during Summer League action in Las Vegas, San Antonio's No. 1 overall pick is set to make his preseason debut when the Spurs visit the Thunder on Monday night.
Wembanyama isn't the only high-profile rookie who will get their first taste of preseason action in this one, as 2022 No. 2 overall pick Chet Holmgren will take the floor after missing the entirety of the 2022-23 season due to injury. They may not share the floor for long, but the head-to-head between Holmgren and Wembanyama is worth watching as they are two of the league's brightest young talents.
