It's time to see if Team USA can return to the top of the basketball world.
Following a disappointing seventh-place finish at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup, the United States will get a shot at redemption at the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup, which runs from Aug. 25 to Sept. 10.
Team USA doesn't feature the likes of Kevin Durant, LeBron James and Jayson Tatum, but it has fielded a talented roster that's led by Anthony Edwards, Jalen Brunson and Jaren Jackson Jr. Following an impressive exhibition run that saw it go a perfect 5-0, USA landed at No. 1 in FIBA's most recent Power Rankings.
Team USA's journey to a potential gold medal begins on Saturday when it faces New Zealand.
