Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins suffered a scare when he hurt his right knee in a USA Basketball scrimmage on Thursday.
Cousins, who sat out of Saturday's scrimmage against Brazil, said the right knee is feeling better now, according to ESPNChicago.com.

"It's better than (Thursday), so that's a good sign," Cousins said on Friday. "Just gradually trying to get through the pain. It's going to be a process. As the days go on it should get better."
An MRI revealed that Cousins suffered no structural damage to the right knee. Cousins was on hand when Indiana Pacers star Paul George suffered a horrific knee injury that will keep him off the basketball court for the entire season.
After watching George's injury, it was somewhat traumatic for Cousins to suffer an injury during a Team USA game.
"It was a scary thing of course," Cousins said. "Speaking from some of the things that happened early on. It's basketball so things happen but luckily enough it wasn't anything too severe. I'll be back in a few days."
