Team USA will takes its pre-Olympics exhibition tour overseas to Abu Dhabi for matchups with Australia and Serbia this week.

After only being together for four days of training camp prior to playing Canada on Wednesday, it was clear that the Americans needed some time to develop chemistry. They ultimately found their groove and pulled away from the Canadians in an 86-72 victory.

The assertiveness of Anthony Edwards stood out, as he backed up his comments about being the team's No. 1 option, leading the way with 13 points. Anthony Davis delivered a stellar performance, tallying 10 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks.

Stephen Curry contributed 12 points with three makes from the shorter 3-point line and three assists, including an alley-oop to LeBron James in the second half. Tyrese Haliburton joined Edwards and Davis with highly impactful minutes off the bench, notching six assists and four steals.

The second-half performance from the Americans showed why Team USA is considered the betting favorite to win the gold medal in Paris. Can this group carry that momentum into a matchup with Australia?
