If it feels like Trae Young plays better against the Knicks than most teams, it's because he does.
Entering Wednesday's matchup between the Hawks and Knicks, Young has faced New York 14 times in his NBA career. His scoring average in those games? 27.9 points. The only teams he has a higher scoring average against are the Trail Blazers (33.1), Timberwolves (32.0) and Rockets (29.5).
That doesn't even include Atlanta's series against New York in the 2021 NBA Playoffs, which is when he established himself as a New York villain. Safe to say, Young has a thing about playing against the Knicks.
With that in mind, will the two-time All-Star suit up on Wednesday? Here's the latest on his status and everything you need to know to watch the contest.
