The Toronto Raptors announced on Friday that forward Serge Ibaka has been suspended one game for a violation of team rules.
The Raptors said that the "suspension resulted from an altercation between Ibaka and a Raptors staff member" after their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday. The Raptors lost to the Thunder 124-107.
"Both parties have apologized," Raptors president Masai Ujiri said in a statement. "We've discussed this internally as a team, and we won't be discussing it any further. Now we're focused on moving forward together, and we look forward to having Serge back in the lineup."
Ibaka will sit out the Raptors' game against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night.
Ibaka is averaging 13.8 points and six rebounds so far this season.
