Spurs at Raptors Prediction

The Raptors (25-30 SU, 26-26-2 ATS, 29-26 O/U) return home after a seven-game road trip to host the Spurs (14-40 SU, 23-31 ATS, 31-22 O/U).

The Spurs have only won two games since the start of 2023. They’ve lost 16 games over that timeframe, including nine straight, with 11 of those losses coming by double digits. San Antonio’s roster is one of the worst in the league on a good day but has been especially bad lately with several players on the injury report. Keldon Johnson is listed as questionable tonight, and while I expect him to play, that still doesn’t do enough to move the needle for me. The Raptors already beat the Spurs once this season by 43, and I think we see another big win by Toronto at home tonight. Plus, the Spurs haven’t covered in eight straight games.

PICK: Raptors -10.5

Pacers at Heat Prediction

The Heat (29-25 SU, 20-32-2 ATS, 23-30 O/U) look to even the season series at two games apiece when they take on the Pacers (25-30 SU, 29-25-1 ATS, 25-29 O/U) in South Beach tonight.

The Pacers have already beaten Miami twice this season, so why not take the moneyline and grab some value on them to do it a third time? Or, if you'd prefer to play it safe, just take the points with +6.5. The Heat focus a ton on shutting teams down around the rim, which is why they allow teams to shoot so much from deep; Miami ranks 29th in opponent three-point attempt rate. That’s not a great sign against a Pacers team that loves to shoot the 3. If Indiana gets hot from outside tonight, I’m not sure Miami is going to have enough offensive firepower to keep up because of how inefficient its offense has been lately.

PICK: Pacers +6.5 or ML

Kings at Rockets Prediction

The Kings (30-23 SU, 30-23 ATS, 24-28 O/U) and Rockets (13-41 SU, 20-30-4 ATS, 26-28 O/U) meet for the second game of a two-game mini-series in Houston tonight.

The Kings have dominated the season series between these two teams, which is why there isn't anything that makes me think things are going to change tonight. In the three games they've played, Sacramento has won by a combined 65 points and scored at least 135 points in each game. The Rockets have the worst defensive rating in the league over the past five games and gave up 140 and 153 points in the past two. I think we're going to see another blowout win by the Kings, which is why I'm going to target their team total to go over 123.5. Based on the success Sacramento has had against Houston and the Rockets' defensive struggles, this number feels way too low.

PICK: Kings team total OVER 123.5
