Loyalty is not dead in sports. Just ask Tim Duncan.

When the Spurs defeated the Knicks 94-84 on Monday, Duncan earned his 954th win with the team, which is the most by one player with a single team in NBA history.

Duncan has paid San Antonio back in full for making him the No. 1 overall pick in 1997. The 6-11 center is a five-time NBA champion, two-time MVP and 15-time All-Star.

Duncan finished the game with 16 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. Pretty good for a 39-year-old.
