When the Thunder visit the Lakers on Thursday, it will be the fourth time the two teams meet in a span of 40 days.

Oklahoma City won the first two matchups between the two teams in dominant fashion, beating LA by a total of 61 points. The Lakers earned their first victory over the Thunder this season on Sunday, winning 108-104 at Chesapeake Energy Arena. LA looks to tie the season series with a win.

Los Angeles (22-31) is coming off a 112-93 home win over the Suns, its third straight victory. In Tuesday’s win, the Lakers' defense held Phoenix to under 40 percent from the field. Scoring from Brandon Ingram (26 points), Julius Randle (21 points) and Kyle Kuzma (16 points) led the way for LA's offense. Rookie Josh Hart added a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds while filling in for injured starter Lonzo Ball, who has missed the Lakers' last 11 games.

TRADE DEADLINE: Date, top targets, latest news

The Thunder (31-24) snapped a four-game losing streak with a convincing 125-105 road win over the defending champion Warriors on Tuesday night. In the Thunder’s win, 2017 MVP Russell Westbrook led the way with 34 points, nine assists and nine rebounds. Paul George was equally impressive, adding 38 points and six steals. Carmelo Anthony rolled his ankle early in the game Tuesday and only tallied six minutes; he is listed as questionable for Thursday’s game.
