If someone told you in November that Michael Beasley would become the bright spot of the Rockets' season, you'd probably give them "The Gas Face."
But the second overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft has been a big part of the team's push for the playoffs after coming over from China in March. Beasley came up big again Tuesday night, scoring 17 points in 27 minutes while helping the Rockets knock off the Cavaliers 106-100.

The Rockets trailed by as many as 20 points before Beasley (10 points in the second half) and James Harden (18 points in the fourth quarter) pulled them back into the game.

Beasley is in the midst of one of the most consistent stretches of his career. He is averaging 14 points in Houston's past 12 games, shooting 54.1 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from 3-point range in just 19 minutes per game.

Those numbers might not be what most people envisioned when he came out of Kansas State, but they do suggest he may have found a home in Houston.
Stud of the night
The Bulls needed a hero Tuesday night and Nikola Mirotic was it. The second-year man from Yugoslavia scored 28 points on 9-for-18 shooting, including a 7-of-13 performance from the 3-point line, as the Bulls beat the Pacers 98-96.
Dud of the night
Poor 3-point shooting was a big reason for the Pacers' loss; they hit just 3 of 19 attempts from long range in helping the Bulls end a four-game losing streak.
Tweet of the night
He doesn't do it often, and he needed a running start, but the NBA's golden boy gets a gold star for this slam vs. the Wizards.

Looking ahead
Hawks (45-30) at Raptors (49-24), 7 p.m. ET: The third-place Hawks aren’t likely to catch the second-place Raptors in the East, but the Raptors do have a shot at taking the top spot from the Cavs, so this game matters to them. The Hawks would also like to keep the momentum of their four-game winning streak going.
