Terry Rozier blows up after Celtics loss: 'I don't give a f— … I sacrificed the most out of anybody' image

Terry Rozier let his Celtics teammates have it Wednesday after their 116-91 Game 5 loss to the Bucks.

Rozier criticized the team's dysfunction, saying diva behavior and lingering issues within the locker room led to the team being disorganized and sloppy.

"Everybody was running around with their heads cut off, like chickens," Rozier told Yahoo Sports. "Coach (Brad Stevens) was in a tough position, one of the toughest positions, dealing with all these guys with attitudes, all that sh—. Guys that's All-Stars, guys getting paid a lot of money, guys trying to get paid. It's tough."

Rozier became a star for the Celtics last postseason, leading them to the 2018 Eastern Conference finals as Kyrie Irving sat out injured. However, Rozier said he noticed from the first day of this season that many players were talented, humble and could take on a bigger role with the team, like himself, but indicated some players with more star power were unyielding.

“I feel like I sacrificed the most, but I’d do it any day for this team,” Rozier said. “A lot of things weren't fair to me, but it's not about me. That's why I don't b— and complain.”

Rozier also indicated he was ready to get out of Boston and have a "fresh start" elsewhere, especially after he was used sparingly this postseason.

He averaged just 6.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 18.0 minutes per game in the playoffs, a contrast to his 2018 playoffs average of 16.5 points, 5.3 rebounds with 5.7 assists in 36.6 minutes per game.

"I don't give a f— what nobody say, I sacrificed the most out of anybody," he said. "I'm a top point guard in this league. I feel like it's a fresh start, whether I'm here or whether I'm gone."

At the beginning of the season, the Celtics were favorites to win the NBA title with the return of Gordon Hayward and Irving from injuries, along with Rozier, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Al Horford.

He later told reporters that his family and friends were instrumental in helping him this season, indicating he was unhappy with the team.

"Because I've been dealing with some bulls—," he said. "I feel like we all still had that one goal. It wasn't easy on Coach dealing with a lot of guys that want to be great trying to get theirs."

Rozier is a restricted free agent this offseason and could generate several offers given how he played in Irving's absence last year.
