The United States Men's National Basketball Team has a couple of stops before it arrives in the Philippines for the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
Team USA started its journey in Las Vegas for training camp and an exhibition game against Puerto Rico. Following a quick trip to Spain for matchups with Slovenia and Spain, it will close its showcase schedule in Abu Dhabi against Greece and Germany.
The U.S. will then have just under a week before its first World Cup game.
Team USA has already played against Puerto Rico and Slovenia. It will now face Spain, which took home the gold medal in the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

Team USA's third of five exhibition games ahead of the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup will be played against Spain on Sunday, Aug. 13. It will be broadcast on FOX in the United States.

When is the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup?

The 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup will tip off on Friday, Aug. 25. The Group Stages will run through Sept. 3 with the single-elimination knockout stage beginning on Sept. 5.
The tournament will conclude with the gold medal match on Sunday, Sept. 10.
