Team USA finishes the group phase of the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup with a perfect 3-0 record. 

Following its 28-point win over Greece, the United States cruised to a comfortable 110-62 victory over Jordan, cementing its spot at the top of Group C. 

Anthony Edwards continued his impressive play in Manila, leading the way with 22 points, eight rebounds and four assists, while fellow starters Jalen Brunson (10 points, four assists) and Jaren Jackson Jr. (12 points, six rebounds, two blocks) finished in double figures. Bobby Portis chipped in 13 points off the bench, as Team USA spread the offense all the way down the roster. 

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson led Jordan with 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists. 

Team USA will next take on Montenegro and Lithuania in the second round group stage, while Jordan will move to the 17-32 classification games with Olympic qualification on the line.

6:23 a.m. — That's a wrap. Team USA closes things out with a 48-point win to finish a perfect 3-0 in the group phase. 

6:16 a.m. — Banchero buries a pair of free throws to bring up 100 points for Team USA. 

6:14 a.m. — Haliburton gets the USA right back on track with a no-look dime to Banchero for the dunk, followed by the alley-oop to Bobby Portis. 

6:12 a.m. — This contest is getting a little bit sloppy as both teams continue to turn the ball over, but Hollis-Jefferson's jumper stops the rot. Steve Kerr calls for timeout to regroup. USA leads 94-56.

6:07 a.m. — The fourth quarter belongs to Austin Reaves as he follows up his 3-pointer with an acrobatic tip-in, changing hands mid-flight to extend USA's lead to 84-51. Timeout Jordan. 

End of third quarter: USA 87, Jordan 49

5:56 a.m. — These Tyrese Haliburton minutes are so much fun. The Pacers' playmaker has the offense on full speed. 

5:54 a.m. — With Team USA holding a 36-point lead, Steve Kerr is going to the bench unit with Walker Kessler checking in for his first minutes of the night, alongside Portis, Reaves, Haliburton and Ingram. 

5:47 a.m. — Team USA is starting to put on a show in the third quarter. First, Jaren Jackson Jr. tries to tear the rim down with the monster putback slam. Anthony Edwards then follows it up with a huge windmill. Team USA leads 75-39.

5:42 a.m. — Jalen Brunson has been the man early in the third for Team USA, getting steals, making plays and scoring. He's doing everything right now. 

Halftime: USA 62, Jordan 33

5:27 a.m. — Team USA is overpowering Jordan on both ends, racking up 15 assists on 22 made field goals, while forcing 11 Jordan turnovers that have turned into 21 points. 

5:20 a.m. — Anthony Edwards making it look easy out there as he drains his third triple of the night to make it 18 first-half points. Team USA leads 56-27.

5:14 a.m. — Somebody get Rondae Hollis-Jefferson an ice pack! He takes another hard fall and lands on his back as he attacks the basket. 

5:08 a.m. — Malek Kanaan turns it over and tries to stop the USA fastbreak, but after the officials review the play, it's an unsportsmanlike foul. Bobby Portis will go to the line. 

5:05 a.m. — Hollis-Jefferson goes down rolling his left ankle on a drive to the basket. He gets up gingerly and shoots free throws, and he will stay in the game. 

5:02 a.m. — Jordan has come out of the break with a renewed sense of energy as it starts the period on an 8-0 run to cut the lead to 11. 

End of first quarter: USA 31, Jordan 12

5:00 a.m. — Anthony Edwards outscored Jordan by himself in the first quarter with 13 points as the USA goes into the break with a 19-point lead. 

The ball movement has been crisp through the first 10 minutes with seven assists on 12 made field goals. 

4:55 a.m. — This small-ball lineup picks up the pace for Team USA as it immediately gets out in transition. 

4:53 a.m. — Steve Kerr goes to the bench, bringing in Austin Reaves, Brandon Ingram and Paolo Banchero as the USA go to its smaller lineup with the Magic forward at the five. 

4:49 a.m. — Team USA has been clinical in the paint, connecting on 7-of-12 2-point shots to take a commanding 20-4 lead midway through the quarter. Anthony Edwards leads the way with 10 points.

The 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup tipped off on Friday, Aug. 25. The Group Stages will run through Sept. 3 with the single-elimination knockout stage beginning on Sept. 5.
