The Americans suffered a stunning loss in the semifinal round, falling to Germany by a final score of 113-111 on Friday. Team USA had no defensive answers for Germany, which shot 57.7 percent from the field and 43.3 percent from 3-point range.
Now, Team USA will have to defeat Canada in order to earn a spot on the FIBA World Cup podium.
