Dirk Nowitzki and Peyton Manning have a lot in common. Both are champions and all-time greats who came into the pro sports world in 1998 but now are in the twilight of their careers. Both are known for their senses a humor, and both have been described as soft or unathletic by critics.
So naturally, the question of who would win a footrace between the two is something that needs to be settled, right? Nowitzki threw out the idea via Twitter after he says teammates brought up the question in the locker room.

Nowitzki's teammate, Chandler Parsons, seemed to support the idea .

Manning’s teammate, Broncos linebacker Von Miller, will take his chances with Manning .
