The Nuggets protected their homecourt. Now it's time to see if the Suns can do the same.

Led by Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets won Games 1 and 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals to take a 2-0 series lead.

Murray was mesmerizing in Game 1, finishing with 34 points and nine assists in 36 minutes of play. He struggled in Game 2 by missing 12 of his 15 shot attempts, but it didn't matter as Jokic recorded a 39-point, 16-rebound double-double.

The Suns could be shorthanded in Game 3 as Chris Paul's status is said to be "in doubt" after suffering a left groin strain. His absence would put even more pressure on Devin Booker and Kevin Durant to have big performances.
