The Nuggets got on the board first, taking a 1-0 series lead over the Suns after pulling off an 18-point win in Game 1.

Jamal Murray exploded for 34 points and nine assists, while Nikola Jokic tallied 24 points, 19 rebounds and five assists. The Suns got 29 points from Kevin Durant and 28 points from Devin Booker, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Nuggets' balanced attack.

Denver has already won more games than it did in its last playoff series with Phoenix, being swept out of the 2021 NBA Playoffs. Now, it will look to defend home court and get out to a 2-0 lead before the series heads to Phoenix.
