Suns star Kevin Durant is used to going to battle against keyboard warriors on X, formerly known as Twitter, but ahead of Phoenix's first game post-All-Star break in Dallas, Durant had a real-life confrontation with a couple of hecklers.
Durant was taking the floor for the Suns' prime-time matchup against Dallas when a courtside fan shouted profanity at the 14-time All-Star. The comment stopped Durant in his tracks and caused him to confront the fans who had something to say.
What was said to Durant and how did the situation play out? The Sporting News breaks it down below.

What did heckling Mavericks fans say to Kevin Durant?
WFAA-ABC's Jonah Javad was courtside videotaping Durant as he took the floor for the Suns' matchup with the Mavericks in Dallas.
As Durant ran out, you can clearly hear a female fan yelling, "B—!" at the star forward.
Durant stopped on a dime, turning to confront the woman and her companion. In typical fashion, the fan had nothing bad to say to Durant's face, immediately sticking her hand out and asking for a handshake.
There were inaudible words exchanged before you could hear the male fan telling Durant, "I host a podcast about sports."
Durant immediately shook off the fans and returned to warmups.
Before the game tipped off, Durant saw the two fans about to get ejected for their heckling. Ironically, Luka Doncic had a similar situation when the Suns and Mavericks faced off in Phoenix earlier this season.
Durant elected to take the high road instead, sparing the two fans from missing out on the game.

Durant left the hecklers with a simple message that all fans should take to heart: "Don't act like a child. You're a grown-up."
