Stephen Curry's new Under Armour sneakers roasted for 'dad appeal' image

Stephen Curry has made the rest of the NBA cry over many a game these last couple of years, but his new sneakers are giving everyone reason to laugh at him.

Under Armour’s new Curry 2 Low Chef colorways were revealed earlier this week, and the shoe’s bland, conservative aesthetic has been getting roasted on social media ever since. It all came to a head Thursday night when bored basketball fans with nothing to do between NBA Finals games invented a rebrand to better serve the shoe's more suitable demographic: fatherhood.

You can almost hear Dick Vitale now.

They do have a Spurs-like style to them. 

For the man who likes nostalgia with his coffee.

Steph's brother, Seth, who plays for the Kings, tried to help his brother out. All jokes aside, Curry probably won't be wearing these sneakers on the court. But if he did, he might still be able to hit shots most folks only dream of. That said, we wouldn't advise taking these onto the basketball court.
