Tiger Woods' incredible Masters win made the Twitter universe lose its collective mind Sunday afternoon. Warriors star Stephen Curry, who probably could have been a pro golfer if he wasn't busy breaking 3-point records, was among the many athletes watching as Woods earned his fifth green jacket.

Curry called Woods' victory the "greatest comeback story in sports." It's certainly in the conversation considering Woods hadn't won a major in more than a decade.

So, here's the thing…

The Warriors finished the 2015-16 regular season with the best record in league history (73-9), and Curry became the NBA's first unanimous MVP. Golden State then infamously blew a 3-1 lead against LeBron James and the Cavs in the 2016 NBA Finals, leading to an entire offseason (and beyond) of 3-1 jokes.

Curry's "comeback" phrasing was basically a fastball right down the middle of the plate for Twitter users. Cue the Cavs highlights.

Just when you think 3-1 is going to die, it returns with a vengeance.

Warriors forward Draymond Green said it best.
