It looks like Stephen Curry may get to sit in the "big chair" after all.

After draining his third 3-point shot of the night Saturday against the Nets, Curry passed his father, Dell Curry, for 42nd on the all-time list with 1,246 3-pointers made. That's no small feat; Dell shot 35 percent for his career and was a great 3-point shooter for his time.

The big difference: Stephen reached the feat after 427 games, while it took Dell 1,083 games to hit one less.

In a recent ESPN commercial, Stephen sits comfortably in the "man of the house" chair in the living room as gets ready to watch TV. Then his father comes along and boots him out, mumbling "win one MVP."

After tonight, Stephen might have gained a bit more leverage after passing his dad in less than half the time.
