Warriors point guard Stephen Curry will remain out of the lineup Thursday for Game 3 against the Rockets as he continues to rest his ankle.
The league's top scorer wanted to play but head coach Steve Kerr said before the game that it would have been "irresponsible" and "not worth the risk" to send him on the court, according to ESPN.com.

Kerr added Curry will take part in 3-on-3 drills on Friday and is hopeful to play in Game 4 on Sunday.
Curry injured his right ankle during Game 1 and hasn't played since. But the Warriors had no issues without him in a 115-106 win in Game 2 and hold a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
Guys such as Klay Thompson and Draymond Green will have to step up Thursday if they are going to beat James Harden on the road.
