Mark Jackson, Stephen Curry's former coach, drew a collective "Say what?!" with his TV analysis during Friday's Warriors-Cavaliers game when he said that the NBA superstar and reigning league MVP is "hurting the game" of basketball.
"Understand what I'm saying when I say this. He's hurting the game," Jackson said. "And what I mean by that is that I go into these high school gyms, I watch these kids, and the first thing they do is they run to the 3-point line. You are not Steph Curry. Work on the other aspects of the game."

Curry laughed when Jackson's comments were relayed to him, but he also seemed confused by them.
"I have to talk to him," Curry told Yahoo Sports after the game. "I don't know what he means by that. If you can shoot, shoot. If you can't, stop."
JOSEPH: Why Mark Jackson's comment was incredibly wrong
Warriors center Andrew Bogut, who also played for Jackson, was more pointed in saying he didn't appreciate what his former coach said.
"Anything he says, you can take that with a grain of salt," Bogut said. "And you can quote me on that."
Translation: Not everyone can be Steph Curry, and not everyone is suited to coaching a team to the NBA title. That's when a coach becomes a TV analyst.
