Warriors point guard Stephen Curry re-injured his left shin Saturday against the Nuggets, and the team announced he would not return to the game after halftime.
Heading into the game, Curry had missed Golden State's previous two games with discomfort in his shin but decided during warm-ups that it felt good enough to go before facing Denver.

However, Curry managed to score just five points in 14 minutes in his return.
It's possible the Warriors just wanted to rest Curry, who was clearly not 100 percent, after jumping to a convincing lead. Updates regarding Curry's status for future games will likely come out Sunday.
