Stephen Curry on Wednesday became the first player in NBA history to make 11 or more 3-pointers in a game on two occasions when he hit 11 in the Warriors' 134-121 victory over the Wizards.
Hot from the start, Curry poured in 25 points on 7-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc in the first quarter. He cooled off a bit after, but still finished the game with 51 points.

It appeared Curry was going to break the league record for 3-pointers made in a game, which is 12 by Donyell Marshall and Kobe Bryant. He had 11 with more than three minutes remaining, but John Wall — who finished the game with 41 points and 10 assists — seemed determined to deny him.
Draymond Green also had a special night, recording his 10th triple-double of the season. He scored 12 points with 12 assists and 10 rebounds.
