Stephen Curry made his Christmas Day debut in the second season of his NBA career.
Since that first game in 2010, the baby-faced assassin has been a regular feature on the league's holiday slate as the Golden State Warriors have been one of the 10 teams to play on Christmas Day every year since 2013.
When he suits up against the Suns in Phoenix for the 2021 Christmas Day game, it will be Curry's ninth Christmas Day game and the first time he plays consecutive Christmas Day games since 2016.
The two games he missed during that span, in 2017 (sprained right ankle) and 2019 (broken left hand), were due to injuries.

Stephen Curry's stats on Christmas Day
Curry has played eight games on Christmas Day, posting averages of 13.1 points, 6.8 assists, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.5 steals on 30.2 percent shooting from the field and 20.4 percent shooting from 3-point range. He's recorded three wins and five losses.
Through his eight Christmas Day games, he's yet to cross the 20-point barrier and knock down more than two 3-pointers in a single game. His lone Christmas Day double-double came in 2013 against the Clippers at the Oracle Arena.
Stephen Curry's records on Christmas Day
As the numbers above illustrate, Christmas Day has not been kind to Stephen Curry.
Arguably the greatest shooter in NBA history, averaging just under four 3-pointers per game for his career, Curry has only knocked down 10 in his eight games on the December holiday.
Despite his struggles, those 10 3-pointers already rank Curry 10th for the most career 3-pointers on Christmas Day. If he has his first-ever Christmas Day scoring explosion when he suits up against the Suns in Phoenix during the 2021-22 season, he could rise to as high as sixth (going by his 2021-22 season average of just over five 3-pointers per game).
The other stat category where the Golden State Warriors superstar ranks among the leaderboard is career assists. His 54 career assists are tied for 11th all-time for most on Christmas Day and if he records six assists, which is just under his 2021-22 season average, he could jump to as high as eighth.
