If you want to know who's going to win the NBA Finals before they start next season, just wait until ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith gives his prediction — and pick the other team.
MORE: Most regrettable first-round NBA Draft picks
The popular NBA reporter has missed on his Finals projection each of the past six seasons, and the YouTube gods have put together a video montage highlighting his ineptitude from year to year.
Here's a rundown of his picks.
2016: "I'm picking the Golden State Warriors to win these Finals." LeBron James and Kyrie Irving led the Cavs to an epic upset in a seven-game series for the ages.
2015: "I'm going with the Cavs." A depleted Cleveland squad was defeated in six games by the Warriors.
DEVENEY: LeBron haters have to shut up now
2014: "It is perfect timing for LeBron James, King James, to show that he's got some Jordanesque skills." James' Heat lost in five to the Spurs.
2013: "I think Tim Duncan, Gregg Popovich and the San Antonio Spurs pull it off. I'm picking the San Antonio Spurs to win this series." They fell to the Heat in seven.
2012: Smith sided with the Thunder. The Heat's Big 3 of James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh dropped Game 1, then reeled off four straight victories to clinch their first of back-to-back titles.
2011: "You gotta give Miami the edge in, probably, seven games." The Mavericks downed the Heat in six.

That's egregious. Absolutely asinine.
