Stephen A. Smith had an apology to make, and that is exactly what he did Monday night after the Raptors' 105-99 victory over the Cavaliers.
"I can't put into words how stunned I am. I can't believe what I saw," Smith said Monday night on ESPN. "I just have to be a man of my word and apologize to Canada (and) all Canadians everywhere because I certainly thought that this was going back to Cleveland, 3-1 ... with the Cavs closing this series out on Wednesday night so I wouldn't have to go back to Canada and go through customs and all that other nonsense."

After being down in the series 2-0, the Raptors won two games in Toronto, giving the team a chance to win the series and move on to the NBA Finals.
Smith went on to depict how abysmally the Cavaliers played, talking about how LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and the rest of the Cavs' starting lineup were "absent."

"In the end, it's inexplicable," Smith said. "I can't understand what's happened to Cleveland right now. They don't resemble the team that has won 10 straight playoff games prior to losing the last two.
"But give the Toronto Raptors credit," Smith continued. "Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozen have stepped up over the last two games, reminding everybody in the NBA why they were All-Stars."
