The Spurs are not new to the playoffs, so it's understandable that Gregg Popovich isn’t getting too high off his team’s first win.
In fact, the day after the Spurs opened their postseason run with a 106-74 victory over the Grizzlies at home, Popovich said he remains “scared to death” about the road ahead.

“There’s not just Golden State out there," Popovich told reporters Monday, via the San Antonio Express-News. "There’s the Clippers, there’s the Rockets, and there’s Oklahoma City, and so forth. And to the best of my recollection, we haven’t gotten through Memphis yet. We had one great game against a team that’s injured. I’m not all that impressed with us.”
The Spurs will host the Grizzlies for Game 2 Tuesday night.
