Skiles, 52, went 35-47 in his only season in Orlando — a 10-win improvement over the previous season.
Prior to his stint with the Magic, the former NBA point guard coached the Bucks, Bulls and Suns. Skiles has a 478-480 career coaching record in the regular season and an 18-24 playoff record.
Orlando hasn't made the playoffs since the 2011-2012 season under Stan Van Gundy.
