The Golden State Warriors' pursuit of 73 wins just got a little tougher following Saturday's 87-79 to the Spurs in San Antonio.
With the loss, Golden State (62-7) can only lose two more games this season if its going to beat the 1995-96 Bulls' record of 72-10. This also marked the 33rd straight game the Warriors lost in San Antonio. They haven't won in San Antonio since Feb. 14, 1997, a month before Stephen Curry's ninth birthday.

LaMarcus Aldridge led the Spurs (59-10) Saturday with a game-high 26 points and 13 rebounds. Kawhi Leonard added 18 points and 14 rebounds as the dynamic duo continue to dominate on both ends of the court.
This gritty contest was a great prelude to a possible playoff series against these two teams. The Warriors' finesse didn't win out this time, but Golden State will likely earn home-court advantage throughout the postseason, and neither team has proven it can beat the other on the road.
Klay Thompson led the Warriors on Saturday with 15 points, but he shot just 7-of-20 from the floor. Curry finished with 14 points on 4-of-18 shooting. In fact, Golden State shot just 38 percent from the floor as a team.
The Warriors head to Minnesota on Monday as they try to get back on track.

Stud of the night:
Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook outdid themselves in a 115-111 win over the Pacers on Saturday. With all the attention on the Warriors-Spurs game, Oklahoma City and Indiana produced a great battle. Durant led the Thunder with 33 points and 13 rebounds, adding eight assists. Meanwhile, Westbrook again finished with a triple-double, scoring 14 points with 14 assists and 11 rebounds.
Dud of the night:
The combination of Kevin Love, Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith combined for just 13 points on 5-of-13 shooting in a 122-101 loss to the Heat. Not only did the three starters struggle to score, they didn't record over four of anything in any other statistical category (Shumpert had four assists). The Cavs need more out their supporting cast.
