Another game, another home win for the Spurs.
The Spurs dominated the Jazz 123-98 on Wednesday to pick up their 30th consecutive home win, in typical Spurs fashion.

Eight players scored in double figures for San Antonio . Leading the way was Old Reliable, Tim Duncan. The first pick in the 1997 NBA Draft had 18 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
The Spurs may not be as fun to watch as the Warriors, but they are just as difficult to beat at home. They're a league-best 21-0 in San Antonio, while the Warriors are 17-0 in Oakland. The teams also have identical 9-1 records over their last 10 games. San Antonio has a six-game winning streak compared to the Warriors' four-game streak.
But this isn't about the Warriors. It's about the Spurs.

What made Wednesday's game so impressive was that the Spurs were able to be efficient without LaMarcus Aldridge, the team's big offseason free-agent acquisition. But the result makes sense because the Spurs stay the same no matter which players come and go. As long as Duncan is anchoring the middle and Gregg Popovich is roaming the sidelines, don't expect that to change.
Studs of the Night
Kevin Durant showed why he is still one of the most valuable players in basketball. One game after sitting out a loss to the Kings, Durant had 26 points and 17 rebounds as the Thunder beat the Grizzlies, 112-94.
Anthony Davis did everything but pass out popcorn in the stands, but it still wasn’t enough as the Pelicans lost 100-91 to the Mavs. Davis put up 26 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists, three blocks and two steals in the losing effort.
As has been common this season, Brook Lopez was excellent despite his team’s failure. Lopez scored 23 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked three shots but the Nets still fell 91-74 to the Raptors.
Dud of the Night
The Trail Blazers played without their second-leading scorer, C.J. McCollum, because of a “clerical error” that labeled him inactive for a game they lost 109-98 to the Clippers. This just might be the Dud of the Year.
Tweet of the Night
Kyrie Irving played like an All-Star (32 points) and let LeBron James make the case for him after the Cavs finished off John Wall's Wizards in Washington.
