Thursday night was a busy one for Russell Westbrook.
The star point guard was traded to the Rockets for Chris Paul, and when the deal went down, Westbrook was hosting a charity comedy show called "Why Not?" in Tulsa, Okla.
Despite the craziness, Westbrook found some time to enjoy himself and even laugh at a joke told at the expense of his former teammate, Kevin Durant.
TRADE GRADES: Evaluating the deal for Rockets, Thunder
So, there was a Kevin Durant joke at Russell Westbrook's comedy show in Tulsa last night, and @russwest44 seemed to approve. Comedian Lance Woods with the @KDTrey5 punchline. You can see Russ laughing at the end of the video. The #NBA is fun. #Thunder #Rockets #Nets pic.twitter.com/qjBFERzY9u

"Kevin Durant came by — this is how long ago this was, many years ago — so KD came by. So now we all talking. So it was me, Russ and KD. And Russ was like, ‘When’s your next show?’ And I said, ‘I’m gonna be in the Bay Area soon.’ And KD said, ‘Me too!’"
The joke was in reference to Durant leaving Westbrook and his Thunder teammates for the Warriors in 2016. Apparently Russ can now look back on that time and laugh. In the three years since KD made that decision, he and Westbrook have been able to reconcile their friendship.
Durant recently signed a four-year, $164 million deal with the Nets.
