The Los Angeles Lakers' injury bug struck again Sunday night, with point guard Russell Westbrook suffering a thumb injury in their 123-92 win over the San Antonio Spurs.
Westbrook, who played 22 minutes, left the arena with a wrap on his hand and is set to undergo further examination on Monday.

What is Russell Westbrook's injury?
Westbrook underwent X-rays on his injured thumb postgame which came back negative, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin.
He did not address the injury during his postgame press conference, however, he is set to undergo further evaluation by team doctors Monday.

Westbrook finished the night with 10 points, 10 assists, and four rebounds on 4-of-9 shooting and 2-of-5 from 3 in 22 minutes off the bench.
How long will Russell Westbrook be out?
It's unclear if Westbrook will miss any games due to the injury, with more to be known following his evaluation on Monday.
Since moving to a new bench role, Westbrook is averaging 16.8 points, 8.6 assists, and 5.0 rebounds on 43.6 percent from the field and 39.6 percent from 3.
"This season he's really brought a lot of balance to our lineup and his ability to crank it up a notch when he steps on the floor has been huge for us," Lakers head coach Darvin Ham said postgame.
