Russell Westbrook is an excellent NBA player. He should stay on the court and far away from the front office.

The Thunder star executed a trade with a young fan before Sunday's game against the Suns. Westbrook nearly acquired a slice of pizza in exchange for one of his shoes — until the pizza was taken off the table.

TRADE RUMORS: Which big men could soon hit open market?

This kid is a tough negotiator. How did he get the deal done? Cash considerations? A snack to be named later?

Following Oklahoma City's 117-110 win over Phoenix, Westbrook faced the media and answered the tough questions.

Westbrook filled up the box score with 23 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and four steals in the victory, but he learned all trades should be left to Thunder general manager Sam Presti. It's difficult to see how the franchise can possibly recover from this.
