NEW YORK — Thunder guard Russell Westbrook set an All-Star Game record for points in a half with 27 through the first two quarters of Sunday's All-Star Game at Madison Square Garden.
Westbrook is known for his aggressive nature, and that carried over to the All-Star Game. Per usual, Westbrook attacked the lane with insane speed and dunked so hard it looked he was mad at the rim.

But then he started pulled up for a 3-pointer, and then another and another. When that sequence was over, Westbrook had scored 11 points in a couple minutes.
All told, Westbrook came away with 27 points on 11-of-15 shooting in 11 minutes.
Glen Rice and Kyrie Irving were the previous record holders. They each scored 24 points in a half.
