Kristaps Porzingis should get his first NBA start as early as next Wednesday. Knicks coach Derek Fisher alluded that the rookie could be in the starting lineup during the team's NBA opener against the Bucks on Oct. 28.
"Overall health should allow us tomorrow to play in a way that would be consistent with how we'll start the season in terms of rotation," Fisher said Wednesday, via ESPN.com.

Porzingis missed several practices and two preseason games due to a a knee injury, but the Latvian says that the injury was not a problem anymore.
"I'm getting some work done in the weight room, just working on those things so I can avoid those little injuries," he said. "I'm totally fine, totally healthy."
Porzingis is also slated to start in Thursday's final preseason game against the Celtics. He averaged 7.3 points on 34 percent shooting in three preseason games.
