With his play early in the 2021-22 season with the Cavaliers, Ricky Rubio seemed to have re-invented himself once again and was beginning to look really comfortable.

Unfortunately, the veteran guard appeared to have suffered a serious left knee injury in Tuesday's loss to the Pelicans. Here's all we know about Ricky Rubio's injury situation:
What is Ricky Rubio's injury?
With 2:20 to play against the Pelicans on Tuesday, Rubio was forced to leave the game after he seemed to have injured his left knee.

Until that point, the Spaniard guard had nearly recorded a triple-double with 27 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists as he attempted to spark the Cavaliers to a victory.
He was helped off the floor by his teammates after he signaled for them once he went down. He headed back to the locker room without attempting to put any weight on that left leg.
How long is Ricky Rubio's ruled out?
On Wednesday, the Cavaliers announced Rubio has suffered a torn left ACL and will be out for the remainder of the season.

What is Ricky Rubio's injury history?
Rubio has been quite durable recently having played at least 65 games since the 2014-15 season.
However, it's important to note that this left knee is the same one that Rubio tore his ACL in back in 2012. Prior to this injury, the 6-foot-2 guard has played in every one of the Cavaliers' 34 games with averages of 13.1 points, 6.6 assists and 4.1 rebounds with a great plus-minus of +5.4.
Cavaliers upcoming schedule
The timing of Rubio's injury combined with Darius Garlan entering the league's health and safety protocols isn't great for the Cavaliers, who play three of their next four games at home before a monster six games in nine nights on a Western Conference road trip.
