The Cavs are on the verge of losing two straight NBA Finals, and it's a feeling Richard Jefferson knows all too well.

While he was member of the Nets, Jefferson felt the heartache that came with consecutive losses on the biggest stage in 2002 and 2003. He has waited 13 years to try again, and now, the Cavs are one game away from him going 0-3.
On Wednesday, Jefferson was asked about losing the twice in the Finals already, and he had great response to the question.

The soon-to-be 36-year-old veteran doesn't have many seasons left in him, and he knows it. So winning a championship this year would be the ultimate prize.

“I haven’t had the honor to finish on top,” he told the New York Times before the Finals started. “That’s all I really want to do. That’s why I came to Cleveland.”
