Stephen Jackson is a player who's certainly made his way around the NBA, and the veteran swingman may not be finished yet.
The Los Angeles Clippers are "strongly considering" becoming the eighth stop on Jackson's NBA franchise tour, ESPN's Marc Stein and Ramona Shelburne report.

Stephen Jackson has been looking for new team since his release from Spurs in April and working out in Texas to stay ready for phone call

The Clippers, depleted by injuries at the shooting guard and small forward positions, are searching for "reinforcements," according to the report.
“If you guys have any names, call me and let me know,” Clippers coach Doc Rivers told reporters after a loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. “I’ll be on the phone tonight with Gary [Sacks] and Gerald [Madkins] and Dave Wohl and I’m praying they know somebody. We’ll see. You never know.”
Jackson averaged 6.2 points per game in his final stint with the Spurs last season, his lowest average since his first stint with San Antonio in 2001 — when he played a career-low 9.9 minutes per game.
With shooters dropping left and right, the Clippers would hope to get numbers closer to Jackson's career averages — 15.3 points on 42 percent shooting.
They would also, of course, hope to avoid the Stephen Jackson who played a prominent role in one of the league's wildest brawls to date.
