Just a guess here, but no way this happens in Cleveland, if, say, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving show up for an interview on the court at Quicken Loans Arena.
Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan, though, apparently isn’t that recognizable in Toronto. In fact, according to a series of tweets from Cavs beat writer Chris Haynes, a worker at Air Canada Centre had no idea who DeRozan is.

Once backup arrived and saw it was DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry on the court, he said to his colleague, "That's our two best players."

Really, though, this little incident involving an overzealous security guard shouldn’t serve as an indictment on Toronto fans in general. Their NBA club went 32-9 at home this season and took it to the Cavaliers in Game 3, right when many NBA observers were saying the series was already over. And we’re sure the thousands of fans who populate Jurassic Park for every home game know exactly who DeMar DeRozan is.
