The Hawks and Raptors did it different ways, but both got one step closer to closing out their respective first-round playoff series Tuesday.
The Hawks used a big second- and third-quarter push to blow out the Celtics 110-83 to take a 3-2 lead back to Boston for Game 6. Atlanta outscored Boston 74-42 in the middle quarters.

The Raptors beat the Pacers 102-99, but they definitely didn't do it the easy way. Toronto trailed 35-18 late in the first quarter, and trailed by double digits late in the third, before outscoring Indiana 25-9 in the final quarter to take a 3-2 lead back to Indianapolis.
The Raptors have had success on the road in this series, beating the Pacers 101-85 in Game 3. The Hawks have yet to win a game in Boston.
Stud of the night
Paul George was magnificent in defeat, putting up 39 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.

Isaiah Thomas typified the Celtics' struggles, scoring seven points on 3-for-12 shooting. He left the game in the fourth quarter after tweaking his left ankle, but he is expected to be OK.

Looking ahead
Hornets at Heat, 8 p.m. ET (series tied 2-2): The home teams have owned this series. If that trend continues, this is Miami’s game to win.
Trail Blazers at Clippers, 10 p.m. ET (series tied 2-2): The Clippers don’t have time to lick their injury wounds as the Trail Blazers are headed to Southern California with confidence.
Rockets at Warriors, 10:30 p.m. ET (Warriors lead 3-1): The Stephen Curry-less Warriors will get a chance to put the Rockets out of their misery.
