With the clock running down and nowhere to turn, the 76ers gave the ball to their MVP candidate — and he delivered.
Joel Embiid made a 3-pointer from the left wing with 0.8 seconds left in overtime to lift Philadelphia to a 104-101 win on Wednesday night. The five-time All-Star scored 33 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in Game 3, guiding the 76ers to a 3-0 series lead.

Raptors forward OG Anunoby scored a team-high 26 points in the loss. Gary Trent Jr. bounced back with 24 points after subpar performances in Games 1 and 2, and Precious Achiuwa contributed 20 points in 36 minutes off the bench.
The 76ers will attempt to close out the series on Saturday afternoon at Scotiabank Arena.
