The Raptors ousted the Warriors in six games to win the 2019 NBA Finals last week, and it was only a matter of time before the topic of a potential White House visit with President Donald Trump was brought up.
With Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in town on Thursday, Trump fielded questions from media members when a reporter from the Toronto Star asked if he'd invite the Raptors to the White House.

"They played phenomenal basketball; I watched a little bit of it," Trump said. "They were really terrific. ... If they'd like to do it, we'll think about that."
The Raptors are reportedly planning a visit with Trudeau in Ottawa soon, but have yet to hear from the White House.
Trump has had issues with championship teams visiting during his presidency. Most recently, the Virginia men's basketball team declined an invitation to the White House while the Boston Red Sox had several players skip the team's visit last month.
According to Business Insider, 20 teams have won championships during Trump's presidency, and half were either not invited or declined an invitation to visit.
