Even the Sixers are sick of the Sixers.

Point guard Ish Smith and coach Brett Brown were brutally honest about the team’s poor performance in its 112-92 loss to the Celtics on Sunday night.

"I don't even know what team I coached tonight," Brown said, via CSNPhilly.com. "That's not who we are. Fortunately we got a few wins on the board previous to this game where you can say, ‘Yeah, I agree, we see what you saw.' I'm not going to be out of control with my comment, that's what we saw. We were poor."

Philadelphia shot 39.3 percent from the field and trailed by as many as 29 points.

Smith was even more, uh, graphic in his description of the team’s 39th loss in 45 games.

"After a game like that you kind of like, excuse my language, want to throw it up, get it out your system, regurgitate it," Smith told reporters following practice Monday."I just had a nasty taste in my mouth about it last night."

Smith has been one of the bright spots for the Sixers this season, averaging 15.9 points and 8.1 assists, but he was 3 for 12 from the field Sunday and scored just seven points.

The game was rescheduled to Sunday due to the weekend snowstorm that hit the East Coast. Perhaps the Sixers could have used another day to prepare.
