Paul Pierce says his career was better than Dwyane Wade's; NBA people say no image

The most entertaining/absurd part of the NBA's schedule Friday was Paul Pierce's nationally televised insistence that he was better than Dwyane Wade.

Pierce was on his own with that one. Not even his colleagues on ESPN's "NBA Countdown" were willing to back him. 

The man sitting next to Pierce in the studio Friday certainly was not Team Truth. The floor is yours, Jalen Rose:

Wade didn't directly rebut Pierce, but then, he didn't need to. Other people had it covered:

Credit to ESPN for producing a take that drew attention and spawned content from coast to coast. The fact the take is wrong is immaterial.
