Paul Pierce mimics Russell Westbrook's 'Good execution' interview image

You often hear NBA players feign ignorance to what happens in media circles, pushing forward the idea that they are unaware of newspaper headlines or television interviews.

Well, Wizards forward Paul Pierce made it clear he doesn't subscribe to this approach.

When he stepped in front of media on Saturday, Pierce walked out with a straight face and answered, "Good execution," to each question lobbed his way, an obvious nod to Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook's terse interview with reporters after posting one of the best triple-double performances of the season.

In a session that featured more parroting than responding, Westbrook said, "Good execution," over and over as reporters tried to talk with him, pulling a page out of Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch's interview playbook.

It was nice that Pierce was able to bring some levity to the situation.
