Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George had been sidelined for seven games due to a hamstring injury but it appears he is set to make his return on Dec. 5 against the Hornets.

George suffered the hamstring injury on Nov. 19 and was considered "day-to-day" per head coach Ty Lue, but he ended up missing more time than expected.

What is Paul George's injury?

George suffered the hamstring injury in the Clippers' win over the Spurs on Nov. 19 and while it's unclear when the injury occurred, George did not return to the court after halftime.

He was said to be day-to-day after the game, but the All-Star forward ended up missing seven games as a result of the injury.

How long will Paul George be out?

According to The Charlotte Observer's Rod Boone, head coach Lue said both George (hamstring) and Kawhi Leonard (ankle) will be available for Monday, Dec. 5's contest against the Hornets.

Through 16 games, George is averaging 23.6 points, six rebounds, and 4.3 assists on 45.8 percent shooting and 37.2 percent from the 3-point line.
