Pau Gasol credited a team effort as Spain romped to a third Eurobasket title with a dominating 80-63 win in Sunday's final against Lithuania.

The Bulls center was at the heart of another impressive Spanish display in Lille, France, scoring 25 points to take his tournament total to 230 — earning him the title of MVP.

"It's a wonderful feeling to get the gold for the third time," the Bulls center said (via Telecinco). "We are very proud of the work and how we reacted at critical times."

Victory earned Gasol his third Eurobasket gold medal to add to a glittering career that also includes two silver medals at the Olympic Games, but he was quick to praise his teammates after their latest triumph.

"I felt very good and I was able to play at a very high level," he said. "But without my teammates, without their work and their solidarity, I could not have played at this level. It is also important that we have been united, we have gone from strength to strength and believed in this team and ourselves."
