Beverley was highly frustrated after being called for the first personal, which he wanted Clippers coach Doc Rivers to challenge. Beverley even grabbed Rivers' arm as if to get his attention. Rivers didn't acknowledge Beverley.
The ejection produced pointed comments on Twitter about Beverley and Rivers.
Beverly just got two technical fouls & got tossed with 1 minute remaining in an 8 point game. That is so irresponsible and just shows that Doc Rivers doesn’t have complete control of his team. You can be upset at a call, but you can’t call it quits because you want to. #Clippers

Doc Rivers gotta tell Pat Bev to chill, dude was screaming at him to challenge a foul call that wouldn’t have changed anything. Doc gotta demand some respect 😂

High key if pat bev was on the lakers they would say that Vogel can’t control his players but since it’s doc rivers, he gets a pass

Doc Rivers tired of Pat Bev lol

Doc Rivers gave up. I completely stand by Pat Bev there. Game was over when Doc refused to challenge. Didn’t deserve to win but bad coaching there.
